History…

Haslett Heating & Cooling evolved through the twentieth century from a roofing and sheetmetal company to a major HVAC contractor in central Ohio. Haslett offers state of the art design capabilities, job specific value engineering, job cost control and on-time scheduling.

Haslett was established in 1909 by Harvey S. Haslett and was incorporated as Haslett Roofing and Furnace Company in 1914.

In 1930 the H.S. Haslett Furnace Company was chartered as an Ohio Corporation. The business focus changed to manufacturing and installing furnaces. Some H.S. Haslett furnaces are still in operation today.

Arthur R. Haire joined the Haslett firm in 1936 and became Owner/President when Harvey retired in 1956. His belief that "the #1 purpose of a business must be to provide a service and if you do this efficiently the company will prosper" remains a key motivation for our associates.

The introduction of air conditioning to the home comfort market prompted the 1959 name change to our current name, Haslett Heating & Cooling, Inc.

Stewart C. McHarg, the firms former Owner/President, joined the company in 1968 and led the way into the commercial/industrial "Design/Build" construction market. Mr. McHarg retired from being president in 2001 and is currently involved with sales, engineering and marketing for the company.

Today Haslett Heating & Cooling, Inc. is owned by Jeffrey H. Florer and Bruce N. Ames. Haslett remains a leader in the HVAC industry of Central Ohio with its commitment to customer satisfaction.
